In 2013, we received the seal of approval from Germany's highest scientific committee, the Science Council. With the accreditation, the council ensures the quality of our scientific research and teaching and checks whether they meet recognised standards. Among other things, the Science Council praises the high level of identification of the teaching staff with the university and the pronounced commitment to teaching and student support. In 2018, we were institutionally reaccredited. In its vote, the German Council of Science and Humanities emphasizes the positive development of the university. It also confirms that our university of applied sciences is valued as a cooperation partner by companies and social welfare institutions in the region.
In 2018, the Stifterverband honors the CORE teaching and learning model with the Genius Loci Award, the only institutional award for excellent teaching in Germany. The CORE principle (Competence Oriented Research and Education), our unique teaching and learning model created by SRH in 2012 is based on scientific findings from learning and brain research.
